Fresh Cuts Buckle Card

Another recent swap card, this Big Buckle Card was made with the new and super-cool Stampin' Up! Fresh Cuts set. For an easy to follow tutorial on how to do a big buckle card follow this link to splitcoast stampers.

This card uses one of the Color Combo Challenges from SCS (and now a personal favourite of mine,) Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. The flower embellie was made with a metal rimmed tag and a 1 1/4" circle punch. Also, along the scalloped edge I have created a "lace eddect" with the 1/16" punch. In retrospect I could have used the 1/8" punch but that is for another time and another card. TIP: For the scalloped edge of the card I used to Stampin' Up! Corner Rounder Punch. By simply, (and gently,) taking the guide off you can make scalloped edges easily. BUT EVEN EASIER is the new scalloped edge punch that Stampin' Up! is coming out with in the new Fall/Winter catty. Look for that to make life faster when it comes to the scalloped edge. ;)
